The Warm Front Grant

If you own your home or rent it from a private landlord you may be able to claim a grant of up to £3,500 under the Warm Front Scheme. Warm Front is a government funded scheme which provides grants to make your home warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient.

What do you get in Warm Front Grant?


The grant provides energy-efficient advice, two energy-efficient light bulbs and a package of insulation and heating improvements which are tailored to each property up to the value of £3,500. You could receive a combination of the following.

Insulation improvements

• Loft insulation

• Draughtproofing

• Cavity-wall insulation

• Hot-water-tank insulation

Heating improvements

• Gas, electric or oil central heating

• Repairs to your existing heating

• Converting a solid-fuel open fire to a gas-front fire
